Further he wrote Divertimento for 2 piano’s (Ouverture, Sérénade, Vilanelle,
Carnaval) as well as 3 concerts for piano and orchestra, and concerto italien
for 2 piano’s and orchestra.
Studied clarinet, piano, organ and music theory at the Conservatory in Tours as
well as piano and composition with Darius Milhaud at the Conservatory in Paris
where he got the first price for piano (in 1951) and composition (in 1953). In
1955 he got the first Prix de Rome with his cantata ‘Rire de Gargantua’. He
works as a professor for analysis at the Conservatory in Paris.
