The Preis der Europäischen Kirchenmusik (European Church Music Prize) for 2024 goes to Welsh composer Karl Jenkins. On 17 June the composer will receive the prize, worth €5000, in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. According to the jury his compositions cross the borders of music styes, and manage to reach people world-wide.
