American composer John Luther Adams has won this year's Pulitzer Prize with the largest compositions he has written till now: Become Ocean. This work was inspired by the natural world, like many of the compositions of Adams, who lives in Alaska. The piece lasts 42 minutes, and was recently recorded by the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ludovic Morlot.
