He created the record label Creative Sources Recordings in 1999, which mainly concentrates on releasing experimental and electro-acoustic music. He is also known as a painter.
As a violinist/violist his interests include contemporary improvised and composed music, as well as the avant-garde techniques of indeterminate, stochastic, aleatoric, minimalistic music and musique concrète. He has worked with the graphic scores of Gerhard Stäbler and studied with contemporary composers Paulo Brandão, Eurico Carrapatoso, Emmanuel Nunes, and Pedro M. Rocha. Electronic music was an early influence.
