Violin Sonatas (1660) (violin, harpsichord, theorbe). CD: Channel Classics CCS 5894.
There is a superb recording of his complete Violin Sonatas by the extraordinarily talented and personable violinist Andrew Manze (with harpsichordist Richard Egarr) on Harmonia Mundi HMU 90241.
He signed himself Antonio Pandolfi Mealli on his earlier compositions, and later as Giovanni Antonio Pandolf. Nothing was publiushed in his lifetime, with the exception of the two collections of sonatas (Opus 3 and Opus 4), published in 1660 while he was living in Innsbruck.
Pandolfi Mealli was a violinist and clergyman. He is first mentioned as “Johann Anthonio Mealli”, a violinist at the Innsbrucker Hofmusik, in February 1660. By 1655 he was living in Messina, where he was known as “Giovanni Antonio Pandolfi master tutor of the violin [and the] finest violinist in the city” and later (1659 to 1660) still as “Juan Antonio Pandolfi, violinist to the Capella Reale” at the Spanish Court in Madrid.
(Contribution by <frank@terribleman.com>.)
His birthdate is also given as ca.1630 and his death date ca. 1679.

inconsistency
It seems odd that a man who died in 1669 was living in Messina in 1675 and acting as violinist to the Capella Reale in 1680. Other entries I've seen place him in the court of the Archduke Ferdinand from 1660-1669. Perhaps someone has confused his departure from that court with his death?

Inconsistencies
The inconsistencies are in fact mine in my original submission… He is recorded in Messina in 1655 (not 1675) and in Madrid from 1659 to 1660, (not as I mistakenly wrote 79/80) Apologies
