Former branch-residence of elector bishops of Trier. - The Mozart family stayed from 17-27.IX.1763 (the long stay because of illness of Wolfgang) in Zu den drei Reichskronen, but the building doesn't exist anymore, nor do the houses of the noblemen Von der Leyen and Von Kerpen, where they appeared. Since 1808 the Musik-Institut organises concerts; Max Bruch 1865-67.
