I am duly appreciative of this Database's providing at least some information on this composer, of whom I'm not sure I've been aware until tonight, when his music came over my favorite site--all Baroque. I think it may well have been the Jeune Sonata listed on this page. One of my roommates at the U. of Chi was a musicologist (Medieval-Renaissance, but he surely knew the Baroque, so I MAY sometime have heard of Jean-Baptiste Quentin, but I'm not certain of that until my pleasant encounter with his lovely music this evening.
