João Pedro Miguell was born in Covilhã, Portugal in 1991. He studied music since he was 3 years old. Later he went to the conservatory to study for piano.
Now Migeull is doing a composition course at the Superior School of Music and Arts of Porto, Portugal. His teachers were Nuno Santos Dias, Gonçalo Lourenço, David Miguel and Duarte Dinis Silva, who contributed to his development as a composer.
At the moment he studies with Dimitris Andrikopoulos, Eugénio Amorim, Carlos Guedes, Pedro Santos and Filipe Lopes.
He has maintained a career as a pianist and composer. Currently he is developing a career as a composer.
