Loridan’s work includes chamber, orchestral and vocal music, as well as film-music, arrangements and orchestrations.
His works have been performed at the Gasteig Philharmonie (Munich), the Royal Academy of Music (London), the Cathedral Saint Louis des Invalides (Paris), the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse (Paris), the UCM New Music Festival 2011 (USA), the Teatro Superga (Turin) and throughout Germany, England, Italy, France, Mexico and the United States.
Martin Loridan is a French composer. He graduated from the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (CNSMDP) and has studied with D. D'Adamo, B. Furrer, W. Rihm, A. Mabit, T. Escaich. He has achieved distinction in several composition competitions.
His works have been performed through Europe, Asia, and America by various orchestras and ensembles such as l’Instant donné, Accroche Note, The Arditti Quartet, the London Schubert players, Lucilin, the Pittsburg symphony orchestra (PSO), l’Orchestre de la garde républicaine... They have been conducted by Zsolt Nagy, Edwin Roxburgh, Manfred Honeck, Ulrich Nicolai, and performed by renowned soloists such as Claude Delangle.
