The eyes of all
As a kid in high school, I was really taken by The Eyes Of All. I was very fortunate to have a good high school chorus that really could do the piece justice. When I persued my masters degree, I was fortunate enough to be in front of a collegiate chorus, and over twenty years later, returned to that wonderful, rich, lush piece of choral lit. Today, I am back in the high school setting, and just for fun looked up Berger to see if there was an email address. I thought how wonderful it would be to actually discuss this piece with the composer before our high school chours travels to compete in NYC. To my sadness, he is now gone. My love for this piece will continue. Thank God music, at least, is eternal. Richard Wilson, BM, MM

Unforgettable...
Berger just had a knack for those lush, emotive pieces that got under the skin and moved the soul. I love having the opportunity to introduce him to younger musicians! Unlike so many other composers whose work often appeals to some but not others, I've yet to meet a person who isn't moved by his compositions. His songs will continue to ring and inspire through the generations.
