I was born in Saigon, Viet Nam. I, Cuong Manh Nguyen/Nguyen Manh Cuong, left Vietnam in 1984 and I am currently residing in the United States. I learned to play the violin when I was 13 and started to write music in the 1990s. I played music in a provisional and local band and also taught violin privately at a local music school. I wrote Etude number 1, Etude Number 2, Etude Number 3, Autumn in Memory, Away from Home, Night at the Ocean, Noi Nho, A Call to the Spring, Our First Dance, Let's not Change, Seasons, Happy Holidays, A Lonely Night, A Night at the Ocean, My Little Darling, Blue Tango, Serenade, Spring is Coming, Our beloved Country song, I Always Love You, Shepherd's song, A Waltz in the Park, My Love Story, A beautiful Night, Wishful Thinking(2013), I'm dreaming(2013), Moonlight Serenade(09/20130), Cry Me A River(08/2013) with lyrics by Dan Young, Memory, Holidays with You, A Day With You, Tra thuong De, The poet. I'm currently working and living in California.
