Through thousand glasses (2005) for soprano and symphony orchestra is composed specially for music festival “Menhir” (Switzerland). In this work are used the deep lyrics by contemporary Swizz poetess Tereza Ruiters-Seeli on Romansh language. First performance was in Menhir festival 2005 by conducting of Simon Camartin (Switzerland), soprano — Urantzegzeg Urtnasan (Italy), symphony orchestra — “Oradea” (Romania). Second times this work was performed in Tbilisi 2008 it was Maka Virsaladze’s author’s concert, conductor was again Camartin, but soprano — Tina Janelidze, Georgian E. MIkeladze State Orchestra. In this work Virsaladze used as collage fragment from Debussy’s piano prelude “Steeps on snow”. This collage is used in whole work, but in each part it change its mood and purpose depending on appointment of each part. If in the first part the light lyrics prevails, in the second there is a dramatic nature, and in thirds we can find tragic element notes.
Alma Mater (2001) is written for mixed choir. Words is taken from Medieval Church choral. First time was performed by Junger Kammerchor Fridenau, conductor Frank-Mihael Frishke, at Berlin Catholic Church Wilmersdorf, also was performed by Mixed choir “Cantus” (Ukrain) conductor Emil Sokach in Menhir festival (Switzerland).
Quassi Passacaglia (2006) is dedicated to contemporary composer György Ligeti (1923–2006). This work is quassi passacaglia by its mood, not by polyphony technique, but it was used technique of imitation.
Remembrance (2003) is composed for saxophone quartet Aurelia, Netherlands. First performance was in Amsterdam, Concertgebouw, it was Georgian-Dutch musical project “Voices from Mountains”. Second version for instrumental ensemble was written for Dutch “Newman” ensemble. In this work we can find musical intonations like in Georgian musical folklore, but not citation from concrete folk songs. The Title and the mood of this work for author means Gradual process immersing in genetic memoirs of the whole Georgian people, not only her individual remembrances.
Perpetuo (2007) — for violin solo and instrumental ensemble. This composition is dedicated to Oana and Simon Camartin. In this work used citation from Stravinsky “Requiem”, it is solo vocal part of Lachrymose. For author it means generalization of crucifixion’s idea but not only, this means that each person must suffer his/her own cross and this process for person is interminable during whole life.
The Holy God (2002) for mixed choir. The cycle is conceived, as praise to the Lord carried out by different Christian creeds – religions. First one Salve Regina is conceived as Catholic church choral, second one as the Protestant choral, third one is Georgian orthodox choral The Holy God. For author the special is the third one — with its meditative mood, deep feelings and emotional force.
