Howe High School (1965-1969)... was placed in an "accelerated program for gifted children" in fifth through eighth grades (1961–1965), where he studied Shakespeare plays for 4 years as well as French (language) from 1961-1965 and heavy math and science, playing cello in orchestras for 20 years from 1960-1980. He took extremely "heavy, difficult" academic and music courses throughout his academic years in high school and the 5 years of college at Purdue and Ball State Universities (1969–1974), where he was a General Motors (full academic) scholar at Purdue University in 1969-1970, and on music scholarship 3 years at Ball State University from 1971-1974, where he studied music composition for 3 years with 4 genius avant-garde music composers on faculty there: Dr. Ernesto Pellegrini from Julliard School, New York City, New York USA; Dr. Cleve Scott, Professor Emeritus at Ball State U.. from California and Hollywood, CA, expert at electronic music composition; Morris Knight, esteemed avant-garde composer ("After Guernica" and "Entity One: Music for a Global Village", on national tour in Washington D.C., New York City, Chicago, etc.) and David Foley, opera composer.
