Soprano voice, 4 violas da gamba and basso continuo Composed by Franz Tunder (1614-1667). Edited by Simone Eckert. This edition: revised edition. Hamburger Ratsmusik series. Score. Published by Edition Walhall (WH.EW-758).
Tunder was organist in the Marienkirche in Lubeck from 1641 and was succeeded by Buxtehude in 1668. He was noted for beginning the traditional "Abendmusiken" — free organ concerts — which ran for about two centuries. His organ works are published by Breitkopf & Hartel (www.breitkopf.com), and amount to 4 preludes, a fragment of a prelude, a canzona, and 9 Chorale Fantasias. (Contribution by Niall Carroll.)
