Haec Dies
Beautiful "simple" setting of the Easter Sunday motet {This day, which theLord made- Let us rejoice and be gladdened.Classical polyphony at its best.Unfortunately,I could find only one source_avery old recording by the Mount St.Michael's Parish Choir and theMarian Sisters {cd and download]. This lovely piece deserves a modern recording preferably with Aprofessional choir.
I live in hope.

I could not agree more .- - -Simple elrgant triumphant.
My father taught it many years ago to the small choir of St.Kessog's churcch in Balloch,Scotland.I loved it .and have carried the melody in my head ever since.I tied in vain to find a recording of it,mistakenly thinking it was the work ofPalestrina. My daughter eventually found a site which listed some 80 versions. Ilistened to them all and the 76th proved to be THE one.Thankyou Sig.Ravanello (and Jacqueline.)
