The government of the Spanish province of Navarra has awarded composer and saxophonist Pedro Iturralde Ochoa with the 2017 Premio “Francisco de Javier". He receives the prize for the great work he has done for Jazz music and the saxophone, combing these with classical music. The award will be presented to him in the beginning of 2018 in Madrid. During the ceremony some of his music will be performed.
