The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, (ASCAP) has awarded composer Morten Lauridsen with a Life in Music Award. The award will be presented at a ceremony in New York City’s Jazz at Lincoln Center on December 14. Lauridsen is honored “for his distinguished contribution to the American choral tradition.”
