German film music composer Peter Gotthardt will receive the Ehrenpreis des Deutschen Filmmusikpreises (Honorary Prize of the "German Film Music Prize"). He receives the award for his life-time work.

There will be ceremony in Halle, Germany, on 26 October, where the prize will be given to Gotthardt by last year's winner Harold Faltermeyer .
