On 14 January the Austrian Mint issued a silver €5 coin to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the death of composer Joseph Haydn.

It is not the first time that Haydn appears on a Euro coin. In March 2004 Austria issued a golden €50 coin dedicated to this famous composer.

There is a also a Euro coin for Wolgang Amadeus Mozart. This is not rare at all, as it is the normal Austrian €1.
