This week it was announced that two 18th century miniature portraits were discovered in a hotel in Thun, Switzerland. The small paintings possibly show Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with on the other side his sister Nannerl. The portraits were painted in Vienna, between 1765 and 1770. In 1768 Wolfgang (then 12) and Nannerl (17) were in Vienna with their father. See the Mozart page for a copy of the miniature.
