Dutch composer and jazz musician Willem Breuker has received an "Ehrenurkunde" in Berlin, connected with the "Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik". He received that price because, as a composer, record producer, and clarinet and saxophone player, he has contributed to the development of improvised music in Europe.
