Don is a living composer of instrumental music. Born the son of Donald Rath Senior and Mary Kathryn Rath (nee Snyder) in 1956 in Mariemont Ohio USA.

Don has been a prolific composer of instrumental music for stringed instruments. His compositions offer flowing melodies and rich arrangements including; instrumental solo works, duets, string quartets and small group ensembles.
He currently resides in upstate Illinois where he enjoys gardening and music composition in his studio.
