The "Polar Music Prize" 2023 was awarded to Estonian composer Arvo Pärt. Representing his father, Pärt's son received the award on 23 May. It was presented by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden at a gala ceremony held at Grand Hôtel in Stockholm, Sweden.
