Leonarda Balada receives Tomás Luis de Victoria prize
The Spanish-American composer Leonardo Balada has received the "XVIII Premio SGAE de la Música Iberoamericana Tomás Luis de Victoria". He is awarded this prize for having substantially contributed, in his creative work, to the enrichment of the musical heritage of Ibo-American people, on both sides of the Atlantic. After his studies in Barcelona, he moved to New York in 1956. He will receive a sum of €20.000.
