Next year Scottish composer and percussionist Evelyn Glennie will receive the Léonie Sonning Music Prize, Denmark's biggest music award. It comes with a 1,000,000 Danish Kroner (£115,948) cash prize. Glennie is the first percussionist to receive this prize.
