From Folk to Formal
Early Music New York concludes its 47th subscription season with works by baroque composer Georg Philipp Telemann inspired by folk music he encountered in Poland in his youth. Suites, concerti, sonatas and some of the original folk tunes will be performed by EM/NY’s baroque chamber orchestra under the direction of Frederick Renz.
