Manuel de Falla wrote one opera: "La vida breve" (Life is short);
one piano concerto "Noches en los Jardines de España" (Nights in the Gardens of
Spain); songs "Siete Canciones Españolas", later orchestrated by Ernesto
Halffter and Luciano Berio; piano works "Cuatro piezas Españolas".

Another famous piece is "El Sombrero de Tres Picos" (The Three-cornered Hat).
One of Spain’s greatest composers. Lived in Spain in Granada, near the Alhambra. Wrote El Amor Brujo (Love the Magician); Atlantida (Atlantis), an oratorio; Harpsicord Concerto.and the very popular and often recorded short piece from El Amor Brujo:
