Don Rath Jr is a living composer of instrumental music generally in the new age and classical genres. Born the son of Donald Rath Senior and Mary Kathryn Rath (nee Snyder) in 1956 in Mariemont Ohio USA.
Don's music weaves together multiple melodies into a cohesive whole creating a unique sound. He primarily focuses on and composes for the stringed instruments. He has written and produced three CD's and he has composed over 100 additional new compositions for the string quartet, small group ensembles and the classical and fingerstyle acoustic guitars. Mr. Rath lives in Rockford Illinois where he is most often found in his home studio creating new music or in his garden where he enjoys the fresh air and the sounds of nature.
