The Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini proceeded from the Conservatorio del Buon Pastore (1618). Pasculli teached here 1860–1913; Pasculli archive. Also Raimondi archive. Pietro Raimondi was director from 1833 until 1850; he was famous for his audacious counterpoint experiments.

There are busts of Bellini and — damaged and stored away — of Scarlatti and Pasculli (see photos).
