15dHi there! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog parlfotm are you using for this website? I'm getting sick and tired of WordPress because I've had problems with hackers and I'm looking at alternatives for another parlfotm. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good parlfotm.21
I think that's a great idea for a podcast, but only if you do it with us so that the Trek can get some cred. cause Page and I are both Star Wars fans and only like the nesewt Star Trek movie (which is strangely similar to Star Wars). When can you get together to record?~Ryan Bennett
I am working on a project related to Eldin Burton in NYC. I am particularly seeking photographs and biographical information and have questions about the unpublished flute concerto which is mentioned in a couple of internet sources. Any leads would be much appreciated!
This is an arrangement of Ignacio Cervantes' 12 most celebrated dances from his larger work Cuban Dances. It is sent via email as a downloadable PDF file.
My flute teacher has a copy of the concerto... it is very much not a good piece. It seems like he struggled a lot while writing it and is nothing compared to the Sonatina. I think the library of the National Flute Association has a copy that you can borrow if you write to them.
Our acquintance goes back to the days between 1961 and 1965 when you were a superb lecturer for the Workers Educational Association and I was a pupil in your Bracknell class.
Ever since your lectures I have always been indebted to you for intoducing me to Bach's B Minor Mass, the analytical data you provided on the first part of the Mass was excellent! Thank you so much!
And I always enjoyed the half pint of beer we each consumed before you boarded your train for London.
I have enjoyed reading about your work since those days, you have done well!

I missed Halfdan Kjerulf in your registry of September births. At first I thought you had forgotten him, but now I realize that you for some reason have omitted his month of birth. Actually, his birthday was September 17, 1815.

Ralph Federer was my piano teacher for one year in 1966 and died in that year or the next... He lived in Morgantown WV and taught from his apartment... He also had other students, including my brother Sam, who studied with him for a longer time period... He was a loner who grieved his wife's death, which he attributed to alcohol use ( which he introduced her to)... He did not drink as long as we knew him... He is buried in Morgantown at the east oak grove cemetery... I know little more about him but knew that he had been friends with people like Jerome Kern and the Gershwin bros and other big band types, who he talked about... He wrote everything out for his students on blank music paper and I have his hand written notes and signatures on my music... He was very kind hearted and I missed him after he died...
I must bring to your attention - whomever might wish to know - that I came across a composition used in a movie (supposedly written by Bronislau Kaper) yet it is a composition written by Carl Reinecke. I heard this music in the movie - yet it is not Mr. Kaper's work, the printed music lists Reinecke's name - I have a copy of this music.
November 1970 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian
1985 - 1993 studierte er Klavier am Konservatorium von Rio De Janeiro.
Orchestral Works:
Concerto for alto-saxophone and orchestra
Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra (1978)
Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra (1970)
Concerto for Orchestra (1964)
Concerto for Piano and Orchestra (1968)
Concerto for Violin and Orchestra (1976)
Reflections on a Scottish Folk Song (Cello & Orchestra) (2004)
2 Symphonies (1965,1967)
The euphonium parts are well executed here. They are VERY hard! I recommend any euphonium player to get their hands on the sheet music for this as soon as possible.
What can I say except the man was a genius in every sense of the word. I hope I'm fortunate enough to every one of his compositions. The greatest composer of all time! Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, is it not one of the greatest names too?

Perhaps freshness, grace, charm, and attractiveness of spirit can encompass lightness of style. I love her music.
The date 1884-1885 indicates the time Henri Duparc was mayor of Marnes-la-Coquette. The villa belonged to his parents.
Sorry, the picture bellongs to Henri Duparc, but should be shown in Paris at Avenue de Villars 7 (I dont see how to correct my entry)
Henri Duparc bought the Villa Amélie at La Tour de Peilz in 1907 and moved to Tarbes end of 1913
The composer's correct web address is now http://opus.pixelworxfactory.com

A two-cd set of Songs of Madeleine will be released shortly by Cambria Music. All six of the Thames volumes are included in this album.
What fascinating repertoire -
Wish I could be there!

Actually, I was born on 18 September 1953. As soon as I figure out who can change this page, or how to do it myself, we'll fix that.
The birthdate has been corrected. Sorry for the error.
Hi,
The year of birth of Vera Ivanova is 1977.
It's nice to see a flute player composer that is so historic and majestic.
