New Music for Young Audiences: Reflecting Science (Fiction) through Music

Ensemble 212 presents a family friendly concert featuring living composers and new music presented to children in a fun and inquisitive manner. By teaching the elements and techniques used in new music, young audiences can better appreciate and understand today's composers.

Co-produced by Artistic Director Yoon Jae Lee and 2014-15 Composer in Residence Texu Kim, the concert will feature on-screen annotations describing the musical elements of the works while the music is being performed. This unique feature enhances the listener's experience leading them have a deeper understanding and appreciation of classical music.
